We are pleased to announce an opening ceremony of the model room for “THE SAKURA Project” in “Vinhomes Smart City” has been held in Hanoi, a joint effort between our subsidiary, SAMTY ASIA INVESTMENTS PTE. (location: Singapore, hereinafter referred to as “SAI”), and Vinhomes, the largest real estate developer in Vietnam.
Although sales officially began in June 2021, we have scaled down on engaging in sales activities due to social restrictions during July 2021 to combat COVID-19. We resumed full-scale sales in late February 2022 after infection rates were under control. Restarted sales activities have been well-received with Building V8, consisting of 699 residences and 19 shop units, projecting to sell out soon, and handover preparations are steadily underway to deliver by October 2022. On the other hand, sales for Building V9, with 1,103 residences and 23 shop units, are also progressing well, with over 56% receiving applications.
Recently, a model room has been set up at the site for the purpose of furthering sales promotion, and an opening ceremony was held on 3rd July 2022. More than 300 guests attended the ceremony, indicating a high level of interest in the project.
